Every person’s dream in life is to build his own house and live there. Many times, the weather and environment of a state other than our own home state attracts us and we want to build a land or a house there. But do you know that there are some places in India where you are not allowed to buy land. Today we will tell you in which states of India you cannot build a house.

Himachal

Almost everyone likes to visit hilly areas. Dream happens. Because the peace and tranquility that is found in the mountains is not found anywhere else. Similarly, every year lakhs of people visit Himachal Pradesh, but here no one is allowed to buy property in the hills. According to Section 118 of the Land Act of 1972, a non-farmer or outsider cannot buy agricultural land in Himachal Pradesh. 

Nagaland 

< p>With the formation of the state in the year 1963, there is a provision of Article 371 A as a special right of Nagaland, under which it is not allowed to buy land there.

Sikkim 

Only residents of Sikkim can buy land in Sikkim. Article 371AF of the Constitution of India, which provides special provisions to Sikkim, prohibits the sale and purchase of land or property to outsiders. Even in the tribal areas of this state, only tribals can buy land and property.

Arunachal Pradesh

Arunachal Pradesh is one of the tourist destinations. Many tourists visit here every year. But buying property is not allowed at this place also. Here agricultural land is transferred only after government approval.

Mizoram

In Mizoram too, according to the special provision of Article 371G, property is transferred. There is a ban on buying and selling. Only the tribals have the ownership right to settle here.

Assam 

Under Article 371B in Assam, outsiders do not have the right to buy land. Every year people like to go to Manipur for sightseeing. But there is a ban on outsiders from buying land. Under Article 371B, only people of Manipur can buy and sell land. 

 Meghalaya

Meghalaya is surrounded by the beauty of nature. According to tourism, there are many places to visit and stay in Meghalaya. But under the special provision of the Constitution, people from outside states cannot buy land there either.
